METADECK'S DESIGN GUARANTEES A WATERTIGHT SEAL FOR LIFE

Metadeck is watertight by design: it requires no joints, sealants or membranes. Water flows naturally through the gutter-shaped profiles, just like on roof tiles. Thanks to this ingenious design, we can guarantee the watertightness of your structure for LIFE.
Let's take a closer look:

The aluminium profile is shaped like a gutter. In the photo above, you can see that the profile, highlighted in red, CANNOT leak, as it is made in one piece, with no joints and no connectors.

The following profile slides into the top groove, as indicated by the arrow

The profile is then inserted by pivoting it in the direction of the arrow.

The flat part between the two profiles can be drilled from underneath if you wish to attach accessories (lighting) to the ceiling of the room created under the terrace. This mechanical, tool-free assembly does not need to be watertight, as water is drained off by each profile individually. Of course, the prescribed slope must be respected.

The ceiling under the terrace is perfectly finished, with no need for additional paint or cladding.

The wood or composite deck boards are then screwed to the top of the profiles using self-drilling screws.
