AridDeck is watertight by design: it requires no joints, sealants or membranes. Water flows naturally through the gutter-shaped profiles, just like on roof tiles. Thanks to this ingenious design, we can safely guarantee the watertightness of your structure for LIFE.
Let's take a closer look:

The aluminium decking board incorporates a gutter, formed in a single piece, with no joints or seams.

The boards are simply clicked together using the tongue-and-groove system.
The flat part on the left of the gutter, in this photo, is protected from water and can be drilled and fixed into the underlying support (wooden joist, steel structure, etc.).

No joints or sealants are required. The tongue-and-groove joint is NOT watertight, but any water that slips between the boards is naturally collected by the gutter and is simply carried away by gravity to the outside of the terrace.

The top of the decking barely reveals the junction between the aluminium slats. The grey anti-slip coating is ready to use straight away.
