Different powder coating colours for aluminium

The powder-coated version of XtremDeck aluminium decking is available in 9 RAL colours.
These colours are totally suited to floor coverings.
As an option, we can of course powder-coat your XtremDeck slats in any colour from the RAL range.

Powder coating, "ISR" from AkzoNobel Interpon, is the world leader in powder coating.

This process involves electrostatically applying the powder to the metal surface, followed by baking at high temperature in an oven. This melts the powder, which then forms a uniform, resistant layer.

The main advantage of anti-slip powder coating is its ability to provide a textured surface that improves grip, reducing the risk of slips and falls.

On the other hand, for projects where aesthetics are secondary (industrial platforms, non-accessible roof terraces, archive rooms, technical or IT rooms, etc.), it is possible to opt for XtremDeck blades in untreated, non-thermolacquered aluminium. The price is naturally lower in this case.

Outdoors, you have to accept the oxidation of the aluminium, which will gradually be covered with a layer of grey aluminium oxide ("alumina"). This layer of alumina is the aluminium's "self-protection".
